Vivo has silently announced the launch of its upcoming smartphone, dubbed the Vivo Z6 5G. The device will launch on February 29th, 2020 in China. The Vivo Z6 5G will be the successor to the Vivo Z5 smartphone, which was launched last year. The Vivo Z5 runs on the Snapdragon 712 platform, so the Vivo Z6 5G appears to be a noteworthy upgrade over its predecessor. So far, the company has revealed a bunch of its key specifications. Vivo Z6 5G specifications
Starting off with the processor, the Vivo Z6 5G will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G 5G chipset, which is made for mid-range smartphones, making us believe that the Vivo Z6 5G will join the likes of the mid-range devices like the Realme X50 5G and the Redmi K30 5G smartphones. The device will be available in three colour variants – Black, White, and Blue/Purple gradient. At the back, the Vivo Z6 5G will make room for a quad rear camera setup encased within a rectangular module. Plus, the Vivo Z6 5G will sport a rear-mounted physical fingerprint scanner. The front of the device will make room for a single camera located in the top left corner of the device’s display.
A big 5,000mAh battery will keep the lights of the device on. The battery of the device will have support for up to 44W ultra-wide fast flash charge. Lastly, the Vivo Z6 5G will come with a “PC-grade” liquid-cooled heat dissipation mechanism. The mobile phone will start pre-booking on February 29th. The pricing, however, has not been revealed by the company so far.
