Samsung Galaxy A31 India launch timeline has been reported along with its pricing. The mid-range smartphone was announced globally back in March 2020 as a successor to the Galaxy A30. Samsung Galaxy A31 specifications include a quad-camera setup, waterdrop AMOLED display and a MediaTek processor, instead of the company’s in-house Exynos chipset. Now, according to news agency IANS, the Galaxy A31 price in India will be Rs 23,000 and the smartphone will launch in India in the first week of June. It will be available across offline stores and online on Amazon or Flipkart.

The Samsung Galaxy A31 sports a 6.4-inch full HD+ AMOLED display with 2,400 X 1,080 pixels resolution and a waterdrop notch. The handset is powered by the MediaTek Helio P65 SoC and it comes in two models: 4GB RAM and 64GB and 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage that is further expandable via microSD card. It seems the company will only launch the high-end variant in India. The handset runs Android 10 OS with One UI 2.0 custom skin on top.
As for cameras, the Samsung Galaxy A31 features a quad-camera setup that includes a 48MP primary rear camera paired with a 5MP macro unit, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 5MP depth sensor. On the front, it has a 20MP snapper for selfies and video chats. It has an in-display fingerprint sensor for security and connectivity features include 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS and USB Type-C port for charging and data sync. The phone is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with 15W fast-charging support.
