Redmi Note 9 Pro Max and Redmi 8A Dual prices in India have been hiked yet again by up to Rs 500, retail sources have informed Appandphones. This is the third price hike for the Redmi 8A Dual and second for the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max, which includes the GST rate hike back in April. While the Redmi 8A Dual price in India has been increased by Rs 300, the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max is now costlier by Rs 500. With the latest price hike, the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max now costs Rs 2,000 more compared to its initial launch price while the Redmi 8A Dual is costlier by Rs 1,300. The new prices will reflect in offline retail stores and are already showing on Mi.com, but not yet on Amazon.

Redmi Note 9 Pro Max 6GB + 64GB variant price in India now is Rs 16,999, instead of Rs 16,499 while the 6GB + 128GB variant costs Rs 18,499, up from Rs 17,999. The high-end 8GB + 128GB will continue to retail at Rs 19,999. The Redmi 8A 3GB + 32GB India price is now Rs 8,299, compared to its earlier selling price of Rs 7,999.

The phone houses a 5,000mAh battery with 10W charger bundled in the box.
