Hours ahead of the launch, more details have emerged of the Redmi K30 smartphone. With its launch scheduled for December 10th, new unboxing photos and a complete hands-on video purported to be of the upcoming smartphone have been posted on Weibo. Redmi K30 design
In the unboxing images, the Redmi K30 is showed to come with a new, pink hue, alongside the lilac/light purple shade that is seen in the unboxing video. Also visible is a dual-front camera module, which had been confirmed by the brand in teaser images. The unboxing images also show the retail packaging, which appears pretty standard, with Redmi branding placed strategically along with the logo of Redmi’s graphic avatar on the underside of the packaging.
The hands-on video shows the device in closer detail, revealing that the smartphone will feature a dual-SIM slot with one hybrid slot, hence also revealing support for microSD cards. The Redmi K30 is also seen running on the MIUI 11 custom interface, overlaid on Android 10 that is seemingly running out of the box. Xiaomi has already confirmed officially that the smartphone will sport the increasingly elusive 3.5mm headphone port, which makes the device a more complete package. Other major changes seen on the Redmi K30 include a new design for the rear quad camera setup. While the cameras are stacked vertically, the module is placed on a circular design element.
