Realme XT (review) is getting a new software update in India that brings the version number to RMX1921EX_11.A.12 and is 2.84GB in size. It brings a host of new camera improvements and enhancements, including the dedicated Nightscape mode for the front camera to help users click better lowlight images in dark conditions and optimise the photo clarity while using WhatsApp. The Realme XT update adds November security patch, optimises the wide-angle video quality of the rear camera and noise in dark environments. Realme has also improved the clarity of the Ultra 64MP mode and fixed the crash issue while switching to Ultra 64MP mode.
Furthermore, the Realme XT update also optimises the camera quality reddish issue and also improves the fingerprint recognition probability. It released a fix for an issue that could not register VoWiFi to the partial carrier, along with the partial display issue. The update is currently being pushed to a select few users but a broad rollout is expected to kick off in the next couple of days once it’s confirmed to be bug-free. Alternatively, users can download the update file and manually flash it.

To recall, the Realme XT sports a 6.4-inch AMOLED full-HD+ display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 layer and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 SoC with Adreno 616 GPU. It comes in three variants: 4GB + 64GB, 6GB + 64GB and 8GB +128GB, all with UFS 2.1 storage. It runs on Android 9.0 Pie with ColorOS custom skin on top. In terms of optics, the Realme XT has a 64MP + 8MP + 2MP + 2MP camera setup on the back and a 16MP sensor in the front. The handset is powered by a 4,000mAh battery with VOOC 3.0 20W fast-charging and Type-C port. Connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, and USB Type-C.
