The Realme flagship was launched in India way back in February and still holds up extremely well against newer flagship smartphones such as the OnePlus 8T and Mi 10T. To recall, the Realme X50 Pro specifications include the Snapdragon 865 SoC, 5G support, 90Hz AMOLED display, 64MP quad cameras, and 65W fast charging support, among other things. During the Diwali sale, should you buy the Realme X50 Pro or should you go for the Mi 10T and OnePlus 8T (review) instead?

The Realme X50 Pro price in India for the 8GB RAM variant is Rs 36,999 during the Diwali sale on Flipkart and, while the 12GB RAM variant is available at Rs 42,999 instead of Rs 47,999. The phone also comes in a 6GB RAM option as well, which is available at its official price of Rs 39,999.

The Mi 10T price in India is set at Rs 35,999 for the base 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage, while the 8GB + 128GB variant costs Rs 37,999. There is no 12GB RAM option for the phone. Meanwhile, the OnePlus 8T price is Rs 42,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB variant and Rs 45,999 for the 12GB RAM + 256GB option.

All three phones tout high refresh rate displays, Snapdragon 865 SoC, 5G support, and high-resolution cameras.

The Realme X50 Pro ships with a 6.44-inch full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,400 pixels) Super AMOLED display with an elongated punch-hole for dual selfie cameras. The screen supports a 90Hz refresh rate and an in-display fingerprint scanner. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 865 SoC coupled with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage onboard. The handset runs MIUI 12 out of the box. It’s also powered by the Snapdragon 865 SoC paired with 8GB RAM. There is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security.

Like Realme X50 Pro, the OnePlus 8T also sports an AMOLED display and 65W fast charging support. The OnePlus flagship, however, has a higher 120Hz screen refresh rate, a taller form factor, and a slightly bigger battery capacity. The handset sports a 6.55-inch FHD+ Fluid AMOLED display and an in-display fingerprint scanner. The phone is driven by a 4,500mAh battery. It runs the latest Android 11-based Oxygen OS 11 out of the box. For photography, the 8T sports 48MP + 16MP + 5MP + 2MP quad camera setup at the back. At the front, the device is equipped with a 16MP selfie shooter.

The Mi 10T also offers an exciting set of specs at an aggressive price point. It is the only phone among the three to offer a 144Hz display. The phone, as stated above, also has a beefier battery compared to the Realme X50 Pro and OnePlus 8T. Alternatively, you can go with the OnePlus 8T for its Android 11-based OxygenOS, 120Hz AMOLED screen, 65W fast charging, and a respectable quad-camera setup, though its price is higher than the other two flagship phones.
