“POCO X2 has recently been spotted on the Geekbench database, which confirms its 6GB and 8GB RAM variants”
POCO is all set to launch the POCO X2 smartphone in India on February 4th. So far, we have received a lot of intel surrounding the device based on teasers by the company itself such as its 120Hz display and 27W fast charging support. The POCO X2 price in India was also reported to start at Rs 18,999, although it could be more aggressive given the nature of the brand. Now, the POCO X2 has appeared on the Geekbench database website, which confirms that the smartphone will be launched in 6GB and 8GB of RAM variants. This will likely be paired with a Snapdragon 730G SoC if the POCO X2 is indeed a rebranded Redmi 30 4G. Let’s have a look at what all the latest Geekbench listing of the POCO X2 has revealed about the device.
POCO X2 specifications
As seen in the Geekbench listing images, the 6GB variant of the POCO X2 has scored 547 in the single-core test and 1,757 in the multi-core test. The 8GB variant of the device, on the other hand, has scored 549 in the single-core test and 1,771 in the multi-core test. Clearly, there is not much of a difference when it comes to performance. The processor mentioned in the listing is clocked at 1.80GHz, and, in all likelihood, it could be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G chipset. That said, the multi-core scores in both cases are a bit higher when compared with the usual Snapdragon 730G scores. This could very well be the case of a tampered Geekbench score, so we might as well take this with a pinch of salt for now.
Nevertheless, the company has already confirmed some of the POCO X2 specifications and features – the device will feature 27W fast charging. For optics, the POCO X2 will utilize a Sony IMX686 sensor. The display of the device will have a 120Hz refresh rate. As a matter of fact, the higher refresh rate on the POCO X2 has been the prime marketing point of the company in the recent time.
