OnePlus 9 series launch is expected in the first half of 2021 and it seems the company has already begun working on the flagship series. Tipster Max J. has posted a cryptic image on Twitter with a codename ‘Lemonade’, which an earlier report tells us refers to a OnePlus phone. The image teases the design of the phone, but we can’t make too much from it. While the tipster hasn’t shared any details about the phone, he mentions ‘Lemonade’ is the codename for the OnePlus 9 series in a reply to a tweet. OnePlus 9 specifications are still under wraps for now, but we expect to hear more about the series in the months to come.
As per a previous report, OnePlus is working on five variants of OnePlus Lemonade model, called lemonade, lemonadep, lemonade, lemonade, and lemonadev. While it was initially expected to be a mid-range offering, the model now seems to be the flagship OnePlus 9 series. OnePlus 9 series launch is expected in April, similar to OnePlus 8 lineup earlier this year. The lineup may include the OnePlus 9 Pro model as well.
OnePlus recently launched the OnePlus 8T in India. The phone sports a 6.55-inch FHD+ Fluid AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and punch-hole design. It is powered by the Snapdragon 865 SoC paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage that can’t be further expanded. Moving to optics, the OnePlus 8T features a quad camera setup with a 48MP primary sensor, a 16MP wide-angle lens, a 5MP macro lens, and a 5MP mono lens. The flagship houses a 4,500mAh battery and supports 65W fast charging. It runs on Android 11 with OxygenOS skin on top. OnePlus 8T price in India is set at Rs 42,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant and Rs 45,999 for the 12GB + 256GB option.
