OnePlus 9 series specifications

The OnePlus 9 series is expected to include three models this time around – OnePlus 9, OnePlus 9 Pro, and OnePlus 9R. The OnePlus 9R was previously called the OnePlus 9E or 9 Lite and is speculated to be an affordable mid-range phone. OnePlus 9R specifications may include the Snapdragon 690 chipset paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB inbuilt storage. The smartphone is tipped to feature a 6.5-inch 90Hz display with an FHD+ resolution. Other OnePlus 9R specs may include a 64MP primary camera, a 5,000mAh battery, and 30W fast charging support.

The OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro, on the other hand, are expected to come with premium designs and high-end specifications. Both phones will be powered by the Snapdragon 888 chipset and will feature a 120Hz display. While the vanilla OnePlus 9 is tipped to support an FHD+ resolution, the Pro model may get up to QHD+ resolution. Both the devices should also support the latest 65W fast charging solution from OnePlus. They are also said to come with fast wireless charging and reverse wireless charging support.

The OnePlus 9 Pro in particular will highlight Hasselblad-branded cameras, based on leaked live images seen in the past. The teaser on Amazon also suggests that OnePlus has indeed partnered with Hasselblad for its upcoming phones and an official statement on this is expected soon.
