In comparison, the older OnePlus 8 is currently available at Rs 44,999 for the same 8GB + 128GB variant and Rs 49,999 for the 12GB + 256GB option. While there exists a 6GB + 128GB variant of the OnePlus 8 at Rs 41,999, it’s still a mismatch with the OnePlus 8T.

OnePlus 8 will be on sale during the Amazon Great Indian Festival sale that starts tomorrow i.e October 16th. Based on the teasers revealed on the e-commerce platforms, the OnePlus 8 price in India will start from Rs 39,999 for the base 6GB + 128GB model. The 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB will be available for Rs 41,999 and Rs 45,999, respectively. This would make the OnePlus 8 cheaper than the OnePlus 8T by Rs 1,000, which doesn’t seem like a big gap in pricing, but it is a start.

Both the phones come with a corner punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera and glass on the front and back. The OnePlus 8T comes in a new Aquamarine Green colour, while the predecessor is offered in Interstellar Glow. Both the phones are powered by the same Snapdragon 865 chipset paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.
The OnePlus 8T features a quad-camera setup that includes a 48MP main sensor, 16MP wide-angle lens, 5MP macro lens, and 2MP mono lens. The OnePlus 8, on the other hand, gets a triple camera system with a 48MP main sensor, 16MP wide-angle lens, and 2MP macro lens. The main difference between the two phones is the charging solution with the OnePlus 8T using the all-new Warp Charge 65 fast charging tech while the predecessor supports 30W fast chargings. The 8T also gets a slightly bigger 4,500mAh battery.
