Now that the Mi 11 Ultra is all set to make its debut in India on April 23rd, its sibling, the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite could arrive as well. Tipster Mukul Sharma aka Stufflistings spotted the smartphone in the Indian IMEI database. This is indicative of the fact that the Mi 11 Lite is in the final stages of being greenlit for the Indian market. However, this particular listing doesn’t tell us which variant of the smartphone will hit Indian shores. The Mi 11 Lite has already been launched globally in 4G and 5G variants. It is unclear whether India will receive the 4G or 5G model.

Mi 11 Lite specifications

The Mi 11 Lite 4G and 5G variants have been launched globally. Both models look identical and share most of the same specifications. The Mi 11 Lite comes with a 6.55-inch FHD+ (2400×1080) AMOLED display that supports HDR10 and up to 90Hz refresh rate. The 4G variant is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G chipset coupled with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The 5G variant is powered by the Snapdragon 780 SoC paired with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage.

The Mi 11 Lite houses a 4,250mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. The phone gets a triple-camera system that includes a 64MP primary camera, an 8MP wide-angle lens, and a 5MP telemacro lens. At the front, the phone gets a 20MP front-facing camera. Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, dual speakers, Android 11-based MIUI 12, and more. Mi 11 Lite price starts from EUR 299 (approx. Rs 26,500), but the phone may be priced lower in India. We may hear more about the Mi 11 Lite’s India launch in the days to come.
