ASUS ROG Phone 3 launched in India last month and went on sale for the first time on August 6th via Flipkart. Only the 8GB RAM variant has been on sale so far, but the company has now announced the availability of the high-end 12GB RAM option in the country. The ASUS ROG Phone 3 comes with the mighty Snapdragon 865+ soC, 144Hz AMOLED display, and a 6,000mAh battery with 30W Hyper charging support. ASUS ROG Phone 3 has a triple camera setup at the back with a 64MP primary sensor.

ASUS ROG Phone 3 12GB RAM variant with 256GB storage will be available from August 21st at Rs 57,999. The 8GB + 128GB variant is selling for Rs 49,999.

Starting off with the gaming features, the ASUS ROG Phone 3 has dual front-facing speakers with GameFX and Dirac HD Sound, microphones with noise reduction technology, and HyperFusion technology to manage Wi-Fi and mobile connection. It comes with improved Copper 3D vapour-chamber, “GameCool 3” tech, and enlarged head sink. There is an in-display fingerprint sensor for security.

Talking about the specifications, the ASUS ROG Phone 3 sports a 6.59-inch full HD+ AMOLED display with 1,080 x 2,340p resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, HDR10+ support, 19.5:9 aspect ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass 6. It is powered by the Snapdragon 865+ SoC with Adreno 650 GPU, up to 12GB RAM, and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage options. The phone runs on Android 10 OS with ROG UI custom skin on top. As for the optics, the ROG Phone 3 has triple camera setup at the back with 64MP Sony IMX686 sensor, a 13MP 125-degree wide-angle sensor, and a 5MP macro sensor. Upfront, there is a 24MP sensor for selfies and video calling. The ASUS ROG 3 packs a large 6,000mAh battery with 30W hyper charging support.
