“Nokia 5.3 mid-range smartphone will launch with a circular camera module on the back that will house four camera sensors”
Nokia 5.3 launch is expected later this month during the Nokia event on March 19th. There have been several leaks and reveals so far that tell give us a good idea of what the Nokia 5.3 will look like. After previous hands-on images and renders appeared to show both the front and the rear of the device, we have another new live image of the purported device that reaffirms what we know already. The new Nokia 5.3 live image shows the back of the phone with a 3D curved panel, circular camera module and a physical fingerprint sensor. We also see the volume and power buttons on the right, and a dual speaker grille and USB port at the bottom.
The Nokia 5.3 was initially expected to be launched as the Nokia 5.2, but the company appears to be undertaking a nomenclature shift to make all its devices comply with a uniform generation suffix. As for the device itself, previous live images had already revealed what appears to be a sizeable chin at the bottom and a wide earpiece on top of the front camera placed in a waterdrop notch. The Nokia 5.3 alongside upcoming Nokia phones including the 5G Nokia phone will be featured in the next James Bond movie, No Time To Die.
Nokia 5.3 specifications
The rear panel on the Nokia 5.3 could either be frosted glass or a composite plastic material. In terms of the Nokia 5.3 specifications, the smartphone is expected to run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 or 632 SoC, coupled with up to 6GB RAM and 64GB storage. The circular quad-rear camera setup, because of which it has likely received its Captain America moniker, is said to feature 16-megapixel, 5-megapixel and two 2-megapixel units, the latter of which would be macro and depth assistance units.
The selfie camera is expected to feature an 8-megapixel sensor, and the entire setup may be powered by a 4,000mAh battery. The mid-range Nokia 5.3 should sport a FHD+ waterdrop display with a 6.55-inch screen size and 18.5:9 aspect ratio. A report by GizChina on the matter states that the Nokia 5.3 may be launched alongside other devices at HMD Global’s March 19th event, and is slated to launch in Sand, Charcoal and Cyan Green colours.
