Acer ConceptD 7 and 7 Pro

Acer has kicked off the CES 2020 show with new announcements, including the Acer Spin 5 and Spin 3 2-in-1 laptops, TravelMate P6 and TravelMate P2 lightweight notebooks, ConceptD 7 Ezel series convertible notebooks, Predator X32, Predator X38, and the Predator CG552K monitors. The Spin 5 and Spin 3 2-in-1 come with a 360-degree hinge design that can be used in a tablet, notebook, display and tent modes. These support Acer Active stylus and are powered by the latest 10th gen Intel Core processors. The TravelMate P6 and TravelMate P2 are MIL-STD-810G certified laptops and are claimed to offer up to 23 hours of battery life and support fast charging.

Acer Spin 5 and Spin 3

The Acer Spin 5 starts at $899 (around Rs 64,800) while the Acer Spin 3 will be available from April starting at $699 (around Rs. 50,400).

The Acer Spin 5 flaunts a 13.5-inch 2K multi-touch display, while the Spin 3 sports a 14-inch full HD touchscreen panel. Both come with backlit keyboard, Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, and rock a compact aluminium build. As said, they ship with the 10th generation Intel Core processor with Iris Plus graphics. The Acer Spin 5 weighs 1.2kgs and is 14.9mm thick, and the Spin 3 weighs 1.5kgs and 16.9 thick. The former is claimed to offer up to 15 hours of battery, and the latter is said to last 12 hours on a single charge. The machines also support fast-charging to provide 4 hours of usage with just a 30-minute charge.

Ports on Acer Spin 5 include dual USB Type-C ports with Thunderbolt 3 support, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, HDMI, and a microSD card reader. While Spin 3 features a single USB Type-C port with Thunderbolt 3 support, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, HDMI, and a microSD card reader. It packs up to 1TB SSD storage and up to 16GB RAM. The Acer Spin 5 starts at $899 (around Rs 64,800) and will be available in the US starting June. The Acer Spin 3 will be available from April starting at $699 (around Rs. 50,400).

Acer ConceptD 7 Ezel series

Acer has also unveiled the ConceptD 7 Ezel series convertible notebooks at CES 2020. The series consists of two models; ConceptD 7 Ezel and ConceptD 7 Ezel Pro convertible RTX Studio notebooks. These come with a 4K UHD display with 3,840 x 2,160 pixels resolution touch screen display and run on Windows 10 Pro. The machines rock a swivel design that rotates in five different modes-floating, stand, sharing, pad, and display mode. The Pro model is powered by the Intel Xeon processor with NVIDIA Quadro RTX GPU for graphics and ECC memory. While the standard ConceptD 7 Ezel ships with a 10th Gen Intel Core H-series processor coupled with NVIDIA GeForce RTX GPU, up to 32GB of DDR4 memory and up to 2TB NVMe PCIe SSDs.

There’s also the Acer ConceptD 700 workstation that is powered by the Intel Xeon E processor, NVIDIA Quadro RTX 4000 graphics, 64GB DDR4 memory. The machine has support for the Wacom EMR pen and Gorilla Glass 6 protection. The Acer ConceptD 7 Ezel starts at $2,700 (around Rs 194,500), while the ConceptD 7 Ezel Pro starts at $3,100 (around Rs 223,330). The Acer ConceptD 700 starts at EUR 1,700 (around Rs 136,600).

Acer TravelMate P6 and TravelMate P2

Acer TravelMate P6 and TravelMate P2 notebooks are powered by the 10th generation Intel Core i7 processor, NVIDIA GeForce MX250 graphics, sports a 14-inch and run on Windows 10 Pro. These too comply with the MIL-STD-810G standards. The TravelMate P6 is said to deliver up to 23 hours of battery life and also includes fast-charging. It sports a 14-inch display and packs up to 24GB DDR4 memory and 1TB NVMe SSD storage.

On the other hand, the TravelMate P2 flaunts a 15.6-or 14-inch display, and it is claimed to deliver 12 hours of battery life on a single charge and packs 32GB DDR4 storage and 1TB HDD and 512GB PCIe SSD. Both the laptops come with Wi-Fi 6, eSIM with 4G LTE and an integrated Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 2.0 chip for protection. The TravelMate P6 will be available in the US from February and starts at $1,149 (around Rs 82,900). The TravelMate P2 will be available from next month, starting at $699 (around Rs 50,300).

Acer Predator Monitors

Acer Predator X32, Predator X38, and Predator CG552K monitors are also announced at the CES 2020. The former has an NVIDIA G-SYNC ULTIMATE, sports a 32-inch UHD display with 3,840 x 2,160 pixels resolution with 144Hz refresh rate, and 178 degrees wide-angle view. The monitor has an ergonomic stand for manual adjustment, dual 4W stereo speakers. As the name suggests, the Predator X38 sports a 37.5-inch UWQHD+ display with a 175Hz refresh rate, NVIDIA G-SYNC processor, and dual 7W speakers. The Predator CG552K flaunts a massive 55-inch OLED screen with 4K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and is both Adaptive-Sync and NVIDIA G-SYNC compatible.

Acer Predator Monitor

The Predator X32 gaming monitor starts at $3,599 (around Rs 259,400) and will be available from Q2 2020. The Predator X38 gaming monitor would be on sale in the US from April at a starting price of $2,399 (around Rs 172,900). The Predator CG552K gaming monitor will be available from Q3 2020 and starts at $2,999 (around Rs 216,900).
